Kids can surprise you. M started loving pickled things during her most picky time (which in most kids is right around 18-24 months.) I have a habit of not offering M things I don’t like, which I’ve gotten better at. I wouldn’t eat a pickled onion, but she got a hold of one at Holiday party in ’07 and there was no turning back!
